MUTO

I've been following BLU's artwork/graffiti for quite some time now and always find myself coming back to this video. Really take the time to watch all of it. If you are familiar with any kind of animation, you can really appreciate how long it would have to take to create something like this.

He's been working since about 2000 all over Europe with his surreal, almost disturbing monster graffiti characters--definitely dominating the street art scene. He's served as one of my major inspirations throughout the process, so I'm sharing the love. Check it out.

  1. i totally love this guys stuff i've followed a lot of it too! he is really an insparation as an animator. one of his other peices his graffitti plays with graffitti that was all ready there it's amusing. but what i wonder is that if graffitti is illegal and animations take a LONG time to do why hasn't anyone stopped him yet? not saying that i want it to stop i'm just asking.
